Welcome to the home of Shawnee Sunrise Farm on the internet. Here at Shawnee Sunrise Farm, near the Shawnee National Forest in deep Southern Illinois, we believe in smooth gaited horses. We raise, breed, train, sell and ride both registered Tennessee Walking Horses and Missouri Foxtrotters. We also train them and race them in long distance endurance events. The picture above is at a recent 25 mile A.E.R.C. event. We believe that gaited horses are a unigue creation of God and, that there is almost nothing that they can not do. If you are curious about gaited horses, come on in and look around. If you are a gaited horse rider that is wondering about what your horse might be capable of then stick around to get an idea of what is possible.
