Traveler's Dandy Samba

A young mare with a smooth gait.

Samba has now completed at both the Limited Distance level and 50 mile level. She is Sandy's main ride and destined to be a key to our breeding program.

Samba is a glide ride like her mom, but she is also light and nimble like a deer. She has a square four beat gait. The first time I rode her out on a trail she jumped a big log. I don't let our young ones jump, but it was a surprise jump, and it was so good all I could do was laugh. She was so incredible.

I think Samba will be one of my personal endurance horses because she also has shown some speed and moves so nicely. Right now she is dainty looking, but she is filling out and will probably be a stout girl like her dam. I'm very much looking forward to seeing what she will become.
